Here are 5 tips for writing emails that won’t get deleted:

- Create Enticing Subject Lines
- Research Prospect’s Objectives
Simplify your emails:
- Make them less than 90 words
- Utilize bullets / 2 sentence paragraphs
- Black Fonts
- Insert only one link or attachment
Get rid of words that activate the delete response like:
- State of the art
Be a valuable resource – meaning provide insight, ideas and share valuable information that your prospect will find useful.
It’s all in the subject line – write subject lines that entice an “open” to read more such as “Quick question”, Re: Product availability etc.
Know your prospect and industry well and remember relevance is key. Write emails that are relevant to your industry and that are topics of interest i.e. green living, social media, the economy.
